She took her bible and left for church. When she got to the junction where she normally take a bike to her church, she waved down one.

3 WEEKS LATER


I was sitting in my official car driving to work place. I received an email two weeks ago informing me that i have gotten the job. I knew fully well that my boss Mrs bukky was however responsible for everything and i was grateful to her. Anita has put an end to her runs biz. Me and her both went to our pastor and confessed everything. He prayed for the both of us and ever since, we have been living a righteous life.

I drive my car into the space where i usually park it. I got down and looked at my wrist watch, the time was 7:15 am. Yea, i came to work very early.
I walked into the company and the cleaners were busy doing their job. I got to my desk and it was already cleaned. I sat down, said a short prayer and raised my head only to see my best friend tobi standing in front of me smiling

I finished the paper work i was doing, stood up and went to Mrs Bukky’s office. On my way to her office, i saw most of the workers speaking in whispers, it was obvious they were gossiping about me and Mrs bukky. When i got to her office,

i knocked before entering inside. She was sitted at her chair speaking with one of her friends on phone. I sat down quietly looking at her.
Mrs bukky: haba mummy T, i thought i told you that i can join your committee of friends.

Mrs Bukky: but you guys have spoilt your image by sleeping around with small boys, following you guys is not good for my image and reputation.

She said dropping her phone

I looked at my phone and saw my old friend calling me. I was very surprised because I couldn’t remember the last time I received a call from Segund.

I walked to my car, entered iinside and started the engine.

Segun: you dey craze ni, at least i dey drive my own BMW after enjoying the old wine.
Me: hahaha. Old wine indeed. What of Ayo, hope you dey here from the guy.
Segun: why not, about that, party dey along G estate. I won introduce you to somebody. Abeg you go fit come?
Me: why not but who be the person whey you want introduced me to na?
Segun: no worry, just come and see for urself.

Me: good. Ehen before I forget, I think G estate is owned by one mama G………

The line went dead. May be his airtime has finished. And I still have many things to tell him including my new job. Well, I am already running late. I put on my seat belt and drove out of the parking lot heading home. A huge smile was on my face as I remember tobi who was still in the office doing my work.

I arrived at the estate and i must confess, the place was great, it was really great.

Mrs Bukky: *shouting* come inside
I entered inside her office looking like someone that is going to die.

Mrs bukky woke up feeling very weak and light headed. She stood up from her bed and saw the greatest shock of her life.
Her body was still lying on the bed why her soul was detached from her body.

She ran to junior’s room and saw him sleeping.
Mrs Bukky: “junior” *she shouted but he didn’t answer* junior wake up…
She said as she tried to touch him, her hand passed through him. That was when she realised that what she normally watches on TV about ghosts is true.

She went back to her bed and started crying.
Mrs bukky: *sobbing* so this is how my life is going to end. Chaiii, will i even make heaven? Surely i will not make heaven. Not after the hideous things i and idris have done. Oh God, pls help me..

She said sobbing and looking at her body. Just then, the earth started to shake. A big snake emerged from the hole that was caused by the earthquake.

Out of fear, she jumped and ran to her kitchen but the snake was there. She ran to her parlor and the snake was still there. She ran back to her room and yet, the snake was there.

Mrs Bukky: *moving backwards* pls you are scaring me please.

She said as she kept moving backwards. Not looking where she was going, she entered inside the large hole and it closed up… The snake vanished immediately the hole disappeared.

She was sliding down to an unknown destination very fast. Just then she stop moving and disappeared only to appear in a little room surrounded by about six women.

She was scared to her bones. The room was lighted by candles. She could not see those women properly but could see that there were half snakes, half human beings. There was a complete snake sitting on a throne with eyes blazing like fire.

Queen: haa, who do we have here.
The queen mother said looking at her.
Queen: hmmm, mama T, nice work. You have done well.

On the mention of mama T, she looked closely and saw mama T among the witches. It was then she knew that she has been initiated with the pepper soup she ate earlier.

No wonder mama T kept disturbing her to join a committee of friends, it was then she knew the whole truth.

Segun appeared and mama G smiled.
