Windows 10 Disables 3rd Party Anti Virus Programs
The AV giant, Kaspersky claims that Microsoft have been secretly disabling their programs and instead leaving Windows 10 users to rely on the Windows Defender program. The move is not solely done to the Kaspersky company but apparently it has been experienced by other 3rd Party Companies too.

In a blogpost Microsoft bigwig Rob Lefferts said Windows 10 disabled “some parts” of a “small number of applications that still needed updating”.
In the post Microsoft says "it bundles the Windows Defender Antivirus with Windows 10 to ensure that every single device is protected from viruses and malware."
It was noted that the switch to Windows Defender took place during the major Windows update of April this year. Third party security programs that were incompatible with the update were turned off
For the applications that were not compatible, Microsoft built a feature that lets users update their PCs and then reinstall a new version of the anti-virus software.
