Computer Security has always been a touchy subject for users and companies alike and this is set to escalate a bit further now that Microsoft has been accused by the Anti Virus company Kaspersky of disabling their anti virus in favor of promoting their own Windows Defender Program. While this does not sound quite so bad it is in breach with Competition Rules that are to be adhered to in the European Markets.
The AV giant, Kaspersky claims that Microsoft have been secretly disabling their programs and instead leaving Windows 10 users to rely on the Windows Defender program. The move is not solely done to the Kaspersky company but apparently it has been experienced by other 3rd Party Companies too.

It was noted that the switch to Windows Defender took place during the major Windows update of April this year. Third party security programs that were incompatible with the update were turned off
For the applications that were not compatible, Microsoft built a feature that lets users update their PCs and then reinstall a new version of the anti-virus software.
So, guys what do you think? Was Microsoft right to disable the features? Was Kaspersky right to complain?

Surely this is helpful.
