Latest version of WhatsApp beta tagged as v2.17.148 brings the ability of a sender to revoke sent messages within 5 minutes of sending it. In order words, you can cancel a message mistakenly sent.

The update hits WhatsApp Web 0.2.4077 that basically works on improvements to do with the revoke feature. The feature however is turned off by default in Settings, so you have to enable it in order to enjoy the features.
HOW TO ACCESS AND USE IT
You will notice the update as it appears in a new pop up menu while editing or formatting text in the text field. From there you can edit the text or totally cancel it.
Once you select a text, you will see new formatting shortcuts including Bold, Italic, Monospace, and Strikethrough. If your phone is running on Android 7 and above, you should be seeing Translate, as long as Google Translate app is installed on your phone.
Note that this feature is only available for WhatsApp beta at the moment. But we hope it comes to the regular whatsapp app soon.
WhatsApp have recently transformed into the best ever IM app at the moment. Thanks to Mark Zuckerberg, who haven't relented in his quest to make WhatsApp stand out among other competitors like Telegram and Google Allo.
